A Hurricane Sandy survivor is thrilled to have her cat back after he was displaced by the storm. The feline named Porsche traveled eight miles and found his own way home.

Survivor Uranie Roberts was rescued by a boat during the storm, along with the cat of course, and was taken to Point Pleasant to stay with other family members.

According to News12, Porsche ran away from Point Pleasant, maybe because it was new and unusual territory for him.

Roberts and her family thought they’d never see the cat again, until six months later when they returned to their original home on Chadwick Island and heard a meow.

The cat is now home and happy.

A Vancouver teacher says his career has been derailed by an ex girlfriend who wont stop posting nude photos of him online as well as offensive and defamatory comments. 

35-year-old Lee David Clayworth has been cyber stalked for 2 and a half years now, despite the fact that his crazy ex was sentenced to jail and a former court ruling ordering the material to be removed.

Unfortunately for Clayworth, his ex fled the country, reports CBC News.

After him and his ex broke up, she stole his laptop and hard drive. ”Everything that was digital and saved in my life — whether it was in the hard drive or laptop — is just at the disposal of this woman,” said Clayworth.

If you take a second to Google search his full name, links pop up with his name on LiarsCheatersRUs.com and statements calling him a pedophile.

Doug May, a father from Spartanburg, SC, lost 300 pounds by eating mostly fruits and vegetables and partaking in a vigorous exercise routine, the only downside being that he has developed a dread of food.

According to The Post and Courier, May confessed that whenever he goes out to eat he needs to force himself to consume his meal.

Anna Voss, a counselor with Associates at Park Avenue in Greenville, compared May’s fear with that of an alcoholic who’s afraid of beer: “You don’t want to go back to the way you were.”

Pennsylvania woman, 39-year-old Adriana DeSilva, died two days after undergoing a slew of plastic surgeries that she was treating herself with for Mother’s Day.

DeSilva underwent breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and neck liposuction on April 5th.

She complained about pain the day after, and had a stroke on the second day following, reports Newsday.

“It’s been hard,” her 14-year-old daughter said while weeping, and is deeply saddened that she “wasn’t there to hold her hand for the last few seconds.

Autopsy results have not been released yet.

Michael Adler, a 16-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, FL, received over forty stitches from a shark bite he sustained at Melbourne Beach whilst surfing with his buddies.

According to New York Daily News, while paramedics were carrying him to an ambulance, Adler managed to throw up a peace sign, with a grin from ear-to-ear to accompany it.

Adler informed reporters that the bite – despite severing several tendons and going down to his ankle bone – didn’t hurt that much.

That quite a large pain tolerance.

Michigan woman Cheryl Nelson, 52, set up a fake account on Facebook and “stalked herself” to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend.

She allegedly sent threat messages to herself and contacted the police eight times in 2011 and 2012, saying she was a victim of harassment, stalking, assault, and home invasion.

Police say Nelson admits she used her ex-boyfriend’s (Kevin Haarsma) personal information to set up fake accounts in his name, reports Yahoo.

“Nelson made (an) admission that she had been falsely reporting crimes because she was not able to let go of her relationship with Kevin,” reports case detective Jason Russo.

Kally and Samantha Mabe, a same-sex couple from Mpumalanga, South Africa, were appalled after their son’s Christian school gave them an insensitive ultimatum.

According to Care 2, the pastor at Highveld Christian School informed the lesbian couple that they should divorce if they wanted to keep their son at the school.

The Mabes had informed the school of their marital status prior to their son’s enrollment.

Months after the Mabes paid for their son’s tuition, the boy’s teacher confronted the principal after he casually mentioned that he had two mothers.

The principal told the Mabes that allowing their son to remain at the school would force them to change their moral ethos.

It doesn’t really sound like they have one.

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – A terrible accident left a senior executive and his daughter dead.

Nick Milligan, a 51-year-old senior executive from London, died with his 8-year-old daughter after a large speedboat threw him and his family into the waters of the Camel Estuary near Padstow.

According to The Independent, the boat spun in the water, hitting the family repeatedly until a good Samaritan managed to hop onto the boat and shut the engine off.

Milligan’s four relatives were airlifted by British Coast Guard officials to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, where they were treated for “life-changing injuries.”

Milligan was a senior executive at Sky, a British television service provider.

The boat is currently being evaluated by officials in an attempt to discern what caused the malfunction.

(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) - An air exhibition turns into an air explosion. 

A pilot in Madrid was killed after crashing his plane during an air show. The plane exploded into a giant fireball leaving over 3,000 spectators speechless. 

Pilot Ladislao Tejedor Romero, 35, was an experienced jet pilot, reports AOL.

Romero was flying one of the first jet-propelled planes manufactured in Spain, the HA-200 Saeta which was built in the 1950s.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) – A wedding celebration goes up in flames… literally. 

Tragedy struck Saturday night when a limo went up in flames in California, killing five passengers including a newlywed bride.

31-year-old Neriza Fojas was on her way to meet her unidentified husband at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Fojas and her husband were planning a second ceremony in the Philippines in June.

The driver, 46-year-old Orville Brown, pulled over allowing four of the women inside to escape, but the other five weren’t so lucky.

According to IBTimes, police found the five dead bodies huddled on top of one another inside the vehicle, probably for protection.

The blaze is still under investigation as authorities are still unsure of the cause.

Dr. Robert Porter, a physician at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, successfully cured an 88-year-old man suffering from Clostridium difficile by utilizing the ‘good’ bacteria in his daughter’s fecal matter.

According to Daily Mail, Clostridium difficile is a potentially life-threatening disease characterized by diarrhea, high fever and painful cramps. The disease is typically prevalent in the elderly.

The procedure, which involves feeding fecal matter mixed with a saline solution through a small tube that feeds into the nose and leads into the small bowel, had been tested in the Netherlands back in 2011.

The test ultimately showed that a whopping 94% of patients suffering from C. difficile were completely cured, compared to only 31% who were treated with traditional antibiotics.

In light of the test results, the procedure is becoming increasingly popular with physicians throughout the world.

Members of an international crime syndicate forced dogs to swallow packs of cocaine before slicing them open after crossing borders.

Authorities have arrested over 70 people across northern Italy after discovering that they tried to smuggle cocaine using dogs.

Members of the drug trafficking ring are said to have used large dog breeds, like Great Danes, in order to maximize the quantity of drugs they could smuggle.

After successfully transporting the drugs, the dogs would be sliced open to retrieve large packages of cocaine.

The Daily Mail reports that the criminals could face charges of criminal association, drug trafficking, and illegal weapon possession.

Ah, Facebook, one of the top ways to get people in trouble these days. The social media site helped the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office charge a father, with money, for not paying support.

“Bad dad” Christopher Robinson, 23, is facing three felony counts of failure to support his 3-year-old; records show that he never made any child support payments.

The very ‘swag’ picture of Robinson on Facebook, posing with tons of cash and liquor bottles, helped the district attorney’s office build a solid case against him.

If found guilty on all three counts, Robinson could face up to 11 years in jail, reports ABC News.
