(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) – Seems like beauty went more than skin-deep… causing death.

Pennsylvania woman, 39-year-old Adriana DeSilva, died two days after undergoing a slew of plastic surgeries that she was treating herself with for Mother’s Day.

DeSilva underwent breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and neck liposuction on April 5th.

She complained about pain the day after, and had a stroke on the second day following, reports Newsday.

“It’s been hard,” her 14-year-old daughter said while weeping, and is deeply saddened that she “wasn’t there to hold her hand for the last few seconds.

Autopsy results have not been released yet.

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – A terrible accident left a senior executive and his daughter dead.

Nick Milligan, a 51-year-old senior executive from London, died with his 8-year-old daughter after a large speedboat threw him and his family into the waters of the Camel Estuary near Padstow.

According to The Independent, the boat spun in the water, hitting the family repeatedly until a good Samaritan managed to hop onto the boat and shut the engine off.

Milligan’s four relatives were airlifted by British Coast Guard officials to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, where they were treated for “life-changing injuries.”

Milligan was a senior executive at Sky, a British television service provider.

The boat is currently being evaluated by officials in an attempt to discern what caused the malfunction.

(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) - An air exhibition turns into an air explosion. 

A pilot in Madrid was killed after crashing his plane during an air show. The plane exploded into a giant fireball leaving over 3,000 spectators speechless. 

Pilot Ladislao Tejedor Romero, 35, was an experienced jet pilot, reports AOL.

Romero was flying one of the first jet-propelled planes manufactured in Spain, the HA-200 Saeta which was built in the 1950s.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) – A wedding celebration goes up in flames… literally. 

Tragedy struck Saturday night when a limo went up in flames in California, killing five passengers including a newlywed bride.

31-year-old Neriza Fojas was on her way to meet her unidentified husband at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Fojas and her husband were planning a second ceremony in the Philippines in June.

The driver, 46-year-old Orville Brown, pulled over allowing four of the women inside to escape, but the other five weren’t so lucky.

According to IBTimes, police found the five dead bodies huddled on top of one another inside the vehicle, probably for protection.

The blaze is still under investigation as authorities are still unsure of the cause.

(WIDK By Omar Guzman) – A little girl was torn to shreds.

An unidentified toddler was mauled to death by 7 pit bulls in Georgia.

By the time paramedics arrived the pack of pit bulls had already killed the 2-year old girl.

A grandmother in a Bryan County, Georgia home says she awoke to the sound of her 7 pit bulls attacking her young granddaughter.

Authorities are not certain how the toddler was able to leave the house unsupervised, though they believe she may have escaped through the doggy door or been assisted by her 12-year old brother.

According to the International Business Times, the 7 dogs responsible for the attack have been put down.

(iWIDK By Remus Lee) - A slasher film came to life when a horror movie fanatic committed a grisly murder.

41-year-old Gary George of Chester, England, is in court on charges of murdering 53-year-old Andrew Nall August 31, 2012 by stabbing him forty-nine times.

According to the Mirror, George, a fan of the Australian horror film “The Loved Ones”, carved strange marks into Nall and rubbed salt into the wounds, mirroring a similar incident in the film.

Chester Court prosecutors also charged 50-year-old Christine Holleran in the indictment as a member of the conspiracy to kill Nall.

Holleran described George as a gangster and growling like the devil when murdering Nall; prosecutors allege that Holleran and George were more intimate than she stated after CCTV caught video of the two hugging after the murder.

Neither George or Holleran admit to murdering Nall, although George has claimed manslaughter charges.

(iWIDK By Remus Lee) - A dead body found in a University of Central Florida dormitory prompted school authorities to evacuate the building.

Officials at UCF say a student shot himself overnight in the Tower 1 residence hall, where his body was later found alongside a bag of improvised explosives and an assault weapon.

Police were notified about the incident after a 911 call early Monday morning reported a man with a gun.

Students living in Tower 1 were evacuated early Monday morning to the UCF Arena and the student Union building while police conducted an investigation, according to Central Florida News.

The UCF main campus resumed normal operations at e the beginning of the week.

(iWIDK By Rebecca Arden) – An unfortunate event lead to the death of an adorable dog. 

California has recently seen an increase of bee attacks, and the second one this month has taken the life of a 5-year-old pit bull puppy. 

NBC  reports that a tree trimming crew accidentally disturbed the bee hive while working, causing a huge swarm of very agitated bees.

The swarm was so bad that firefighters arrived at the scene and used a mixture of water and foam to kill as many bees as possible.

Sadly, it was a little too late. While no people were seriously harmed, suffering only from minor stings, a neighbor’s five-year-old pit bull dog was killed from the stings.

This is the latest in a string of bee attacks in California. Earlier this month an Australian Shepherd mix was killed by a swarm of bees and in June, a swarm of Africanized honey bees attacked 16 dogs at a boarding center.

(iWIDK By Remus Lee) - A Florida man was shot and killed after getting caught in flagrante delicto with another man’s wife.

70-year-old former army veteran Ralph Lewis Wald shot his wife’s ex-boyfriend as the latter two were engaged in sexual relations on his couch.

According to the Miami New Times, the ex-boyfriend, 32-year-old Walter Conley, had previously fallen into trouble with Wald’s wife, 42-year-old Johnna Flores, who was earlier jailed after shooting at Conley during a domestic dispute.

Conley died on the scene, while Flores, who was with Conley at the time, was uninjured.

Wald is currently held without bail on charges of second-degree murder.

(iWIDK By Remus Lee) - San Francisco citizens makes a gruesome discovery during an all-but-routine nightly commute.

In the course of rescuing a commuter trapped in an elevator, San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit personnel discover the body of an unknown man in the elevator shaft.

According to CBS San Francisco, the commuter had called for a rescue around 9:35 PM, after reporting hearing a crunching sound and a yelp before the elevator stopped.

BART officials have no clues as to how the unknown man got into the elevator shaft, as all possible points of entry show no signs of tampering.

The elevator in question is being examined by state inspectors before reopening to the public; BART trains will continue running on schedule through the Montgomery Street Station where the incident occurred.

A Michigan man, Jayme Earle, 26, was found dead in his pickup truck parked in a no-parking zone, all while receiving two parking tickets.

A few days later, a passer-by called 911 because the truck looked suspicious.

According to Wood TV, authorities found Earle’s body in the truck; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no signs of foul play, and the cause of death is unknown and still being investigated.

(iWIDK By Rebecca Arden) – This is not exactly what Rihanna was singing about in her song, “Russian Roulette.” 

16-year-old Brandon Kuiper died after getting shot in the face with a .22 revolver during a “horseplay” game with some of his friends. 

According to MLive.com, Kuiper was with a group of six friends at 18-year-old Richard Mack Usher’s house, drinking and smoking some marijuana.

Then Usher pulled out his grandfather’s gun and the boys began playing “Russian Roulette.”

Russian Roulette is a game that requires spinning the cylinder of a revolver, loaded with only one bullet, and then pulling the trigger, not knowing if the gun would fire the bullet or not.

According to Lt. Mark Bennett, at one point Usher “pointed [the gun] at the victim and shot him in the face.”

Usher has been arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter and felony firearms and is currently being held in a Michigan jail on $200,000 bond.

Kuiper was rushed to the hospital and remained in critical condition until he passed away Friday afternoon.

(iWIDK By Lauren Keough) - A man’s body was discovered on a busy highway.

Alvin Singh, 34, was found lying slumped in the driver’s seat of his car parked on Puhinui Rd near the intersection with Great South Rd in Papatoetoe last Wednesday, after a person finally raised the alarm.

According to Daily Mail, Detective Inspector Mark Gutry said a neighbor living nearby had reported the body to police after the car remained on the busy road for five days.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and there was nothing in the car to indicate how he died, Det Insp Gutry said.

It was likely he died because of a medical condition, and Mr Gutry hoped further test results would help to establish the cause.

An autopsy was inconclusive.
