Charlie Brown, now an adult, returns to his hometown at Christmastime and reunites with some old friends.

Remember how everyone was such a dick to Charlie all the time?

It still makes me mad/sad every time I watch one of the holiday specials (I only really watch the Great Pumpkin and Christmas because, really, who watches the Thanksgiving one?) and him actually getting to kick that goddamn football fills me with joy.

And let’s all take a minute to be thankful for the fact that this 2.5 minute video is better than the entirety of “American Reunion.”

This video captures the mostly inaccurate “subtext” we garner from text messages.

 I will be the first to admit that I’m guilty of this, to a degree less severe than in the video.

There was a time (a couple months ago) when I would think you hated me if you sent me a one-word response to a text message. Which means I would be totally done with texting you (for the next few hours) and start to reflect on our friendship and where it stands.

Okay, I started to exaggerate a little bit there, but you get the point. This video actually raises a lot of interesting questions about how basic human communication is evolving in today’s society.

So let’s all vow to call at least 2 of the people you were going to text today, so this thing doesn’t get out of hand and we all remain besties.

A man pulls a prank on his friend with a “lung capacity test,” check it out.

Only the British could pull a prank on someone and have both parties react in the most polite of manners.

Seriously, the victim here does nothing but look at it weird and say “uh, well, it didn’t happen to you but it happened to me… How does it work?” While the prankster just sits there giggling to himself.

If obnoxious Americans did this someone probably would have been left wounded.

This adorable older couple just can’t seem to get their line right for a commercial of a local restaurant.

The line is “baked in a buttery, flaky crust.”

Doesn’t seem so bad, right? Well this guy begs to differ. And after getting severely judged by his lady friend, once the camera’s expecting her to say the same line she can’t seem to get it right, either.

Let’s hope they didn’t flub their wedding vows this badly.

This video, unlike 90% of the reviews out there, points out everything that’s wrong with the biggest movie this year.

I have never felt so out of touch and disconnected with the rest of the country than earlier this summer when I saw “The Avengers” in theaters.

I was super pumped because if there’s one thing I love it’s anything that Joss Whedon is involved in. He’s the Geek God, after all.

When I left the theater I was nothing short of perplexed at how universally lauded it was. In my mind it was sub-par and amateurish at best. But, me being me, I refused to believe that so I went to see it again. Still disappointing.

Maybe it’s just because I’m not a die hard fan of the characters? Anyway, this video points out every problem I had with the movie (and a lot more). Now I’m going to go start a support group for me and the 2 other people in the country who don’t like this movie.

This video from College Humor depicts what a scene of “Dark Knight Rises” would be like if Batman just couldn’t get his mind off sex.

In the off chance that any of you who care about the “Dark Knight” movies haven’t seen the last installment yet, I should warn you this video plays off one of the “big reveals” at the end of TDKR, so, spoiler alert.

But in all seriousness, if you haven’t seen it by now you probably wont see it, right?

Anyway, that reveal in the movie kind of pissed me off in it’s senselessness so this video has extra entertainment value with me.

You know that popular app you’ve probably played before? Well here’s the real life version of it!

If kids were aloud to play with swords then this would be all of us right now.

Just think about it, all that time to practice would no doubt lead to some pretty sweet fruit-slicing skills.

Come to think of it, I’m going to go start practicing now by making a fruit salad. Only instead of a sword I’ll be using a regular knife. And instead of mid-air I’ll just be cutting it on a cutting board… Never mind I’ll just eat a bagel.

I’m hungry and I don’t have time for that shit, okay?

Science (and just generally cool) guy Bill Nye teaches you how to tie a bow-tie.

Most of us grew up watching and learning from Bill Nye the Science Guy. And by “most of us” I mean me and anyone who happens to be around my age.

Well now, you can learn something not exactly science related but equally perplexing.

I mean seriously, I got lost about 50 seconds into this video. This shit’s confusing.

Side note- who knew Bill Nye was also the king of making up his own words (aside from Dr. Seuss of course)? I mean, schminkity-wink? Tightical? Attentiotivity? I’m definitely going to start trying to make those words happen.

The Nerdist YouTube channel has recently started a series of videos chronicling Neil Patrick Harris’ puppet-filled dreams. Here’s one of them.

I love that David Burtka makes a cameo here and I think we can all agree they are one of the best couples on Earth.

If you don’t believe me, look up their Halloween family photos with their kids Gideon and Harper (yes, I know their names, sue me.)

This man has vowed to record 1 second of video every day for the rest of his life, this video chronicles his 30th year on Earth.

This is very similar to that “365 Project” or whatever it’s called, where you take one photo every day for a year.

I thought that was pretty cool but this, somehow, manages to be even more amazing.

This man had quite an interesting year and I’m extremely envious. In the video description he says how he saved up enough money to take that whole year off from work and he used it to travel, etc.

In this 6 minute video, we’re getting a fascinating, intimate glimpse into a year in the life of this man and it’s nothing short of entrancing.

This woman is incredibly determined (read: insane) to show you that black bears really aren’t a threat to humans…

I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t expecting this bear’s mother to maul the shit out of her at the end of the video.

I don’t care how un-threatening that particular bear seems to be, provoking an animal that generally views humans as meat popsicles is probably a bad idea.

And it’s also when your loved ones decide to put you in a home.

As the title suggests, this might just be the most easily scared man ever.

I thought I was pretty bad when it comes to jumping at things that are not at all threatening, but this guy takes the cake.

I can only hope to one day work with a guy like this to provide me and my coworkers endless entertainment.

If he’s not careful he might have to start wearing adult diapers soon.
