(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A young boy survived a fall into a river thanks to the sacrifices of a stranger and his sister.

In Sioux Falls, South Dakota, emergency crews have recovered the dead body of 16-year-old Madison Wallace, and are currently searching for 28-year-old Lyle Eagletail after the two attempted to save Wallace’s 6-ear-old brother who had fallen into the river.

According to Daily Mail, Wallace’s 6-year-old brother survived the fall and was found minutes later down the stream.

Eagletail, who did not know the Wallaces, fearlessly jumped into the river to assist the brother and sister, but his whereabouts are currently unknown.

Emergency crews are having trouble working against the river’s strong current and large amounts of foam, but are hoping to close this tragic chapter shortly.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A sexy robbery technique did not keep this bandit from landing in prison.

In Australia’s Gold Coast, 22-year-old Tonee Walker, also known as the “buxom bandit,” has been caught by police after she distracted a gas station worker with a low-cut shirt so she could steal $300.

According to NY Daily News, Walker’s getaway driver claimed that she intentionally lowered her top before walking into the store to give the worker “something to look at.”

Walker forgot to wear gloves on both hands during the robbery, and was identified by her fingerprints.

She was caught and taken to jail five days after the incident where she will serve four years in jail after pleading guilty to robbery and stealing a license plate.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A troubled mother made a tragic decision.

In Dallas, Texas, 43-year-old cancer survivor Angelica Vazquez fatally shot her husband and two adult children, ages 18 and 21, before committing suicide. 

According to The Global Dispatch, police were called to the home of the Vazquez family after neighbors claimed to hear gunshots, but there were no signs of forced entry, which led everyone to assume nothing awry had occurred.

Four days later, one of the same officers returned to the address to find a full mailbox and uncollected newspapers on the front lawn.

After weighing their options, the local police department decided to force their way into the home where they found the four dead bodies.

No motive has been determined.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A young girl has been living in poor conditions with a homeless couple. 

In Sacramento, California, 39-year-old John Oliver and 40-year-old Angelica Madrigal have been charged with child endangerment after police caught the couple squatting in a foreclosed home with a 3-year-old girl in their care.

According to KCRA 3, neighbors alerted police to potential squatting when they noticed the notices for foreclosure had been removed from the home.

After an investigation, police determined that Oliver and Madrigal were living in the home illegally, but were unaware of the 3-year-old girl until later.

The house was boarded up, and the child placed into the custody of Child Protective Services until she finds a good home.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - The owners of a neglected Cocker Spaniel are about to be held responsible for their actions.

In Wall Township, New Jersey, Keith Morgan and his wife, Shauna, are facing charges of animal cruelty and filing a false report after leaving Samurai, their Cocker Spaniel, in a garbage bag on the side of the road.

According to The Bronx News 12, Samurai had severely matted fur and was covered in waste when officials at the Associated Humane Society found him.

The dog is currently on a feeding tube and being slowly cleaned up.

Police were able to locate Morgan and his wife because Samurai was registered to someone in their home.

If Samurai passes away, the couple will face additional charges.

In Newburgh, New York, 44-year old  Lisa M. Franklin has been charged with second-degree rape and sexual conduct against a child after she befriended a 13-year-old boy’s parents and became his at-home tutor over the course of a year.

According to Inquisitr, Franklin met the boy and his parents while working as a substitute teacher at Sacred Heat School, eventually becoming his personal tutor.

Over a year later, the boy’s parents reported their concerns to police after discovering potentially inappropriate texts on their son’s cell phone.

Additional felony sex charges are pending.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A devastating fire took a South Carolina community by surprise. 

In Carolina Forest, South Carolina, dozens of families have been displaced after a major fire spread across a gated-community destroying 26 buildings and up to 180 condos.

According to Daily Mail, no fatalities took place but the blazes spread so quickly that many people had to leave all their possessions and pets in their burning homes.

The fires in Carolina Forest are nearly under control, and residents are pulling together to provide food and shelter for those in need.

The causes of the fire are unknown but South Carolina officials sent out a statewide red flag fire weather alert, and reported responding to 64 fires across the state.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A troubling practice has started to become more widespread in Africa. 

In West and Central Africa, scholars are reporting widespread accounts of “penis snatching” in the region.

According to Daily Mail, academics had observed reports of penis snatching on the continent, and considered it to be an urban phenomenon that occurred when villages became cities where rural people found themselves among crowds of unfamiliar people.

Recently, reports of penis snatching are becoming more common in small villages.

Two men claimed to have been victims of this practice after they were targeted while trying to purchase tea from a tea seller.

Louisa Lombard, a postdoctoral fellow of geography at the University of California, Berkeley, has stated that the practice can be linked to a “general resurgence of witchcraft” in Africa.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A new medical procedure has given some men what they only dreamed of.

In Stalybridge, Greater Machester, 39-year-old Andrew Wardle, who was born without a penis, is preparing to become the first man in the world to undergo a surgery to create a penis by using parts of his arm.

According to Daily Mail, surgeons will use a large flap of skin, including its blood vessels and nerves, to fold it into a tube and shaping it into the appropriate shape.

Wardle was born with testicles but not a penis because his bladder formed outside of his body.

Despite this handicap, Wardle claims to have slept with over 100 women.

Following the surgery, he plans to write a book about his life and train as a counselor.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A fatal crash has gripped Seton Hall’s women lacrosse team. 

In Carlisle, Pennsylvania, a bus carrying Seton Hall’s women lacrosse team crashed into a tree which resulted in three deaths – the bus driver, pregnant 30-year-old head coach Kristina Quigley, and Quigley’s unborn son.

According to The Examiner, the bus veered off the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but authorities have not learned what caused the driver to careen off the road.

The bus stopped 70 yards from the interstate with the front-left side of the bus torn away from the impact of the crash.

A memorial has been planned for Sunday night on the Seton Hall Campus.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A school employee was caught conducting improper behavior with students.

In Ocala, Florida, 43-year-old Jody Teressa Onorato, an employee at Vanguard High School, has been arrested for sending nude pictures to two students by text message.

According to ABC 7, Onorato acknowledged sending the photos to the students “for attention.”

The parents of both victims have been contacted by Onorato, who has apologized for her actions.

Attempts by local media to reach Onorato for further comments have been denied.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A Florida man was busted twice for crimes against minors. 

In Miami, Florida, 30-year-old Nelson Carrizo was placed in jail last October following a guilty plea for luring a teenage girl to his apartment for sex through a networking site called VampireFreaks.com.

According to WPTV 5, Carrizo began his three-year prison term for that crime on January 9.

After Carrizo started serving his sentence, another teenage girl came forward about her encounter with Carrizo on the same website.

The problem with the second victim was first noticed when she was found in a local gym attempting to cut her wrists by using her own fingernails.

Prosecutors and the judge are now charging Zarrizo with two counts of sex with a minor, and are seeking to extend the original sentence to 50 years.

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A New York case revealed another example of contemporary slavery.

In Albany, New York, 40-year-old widow Annie George was found guilty on one count of harboring an illegal alien for forcing Valsamma Mathai, an illegal alien, to labor at three homes over a five year period. 

According to The Saratogian, Mathai’s roles included domestic, cook, and babysitter for up to 17 hours, seven days a week for an agreed-upon salary of $1,000 per month.

The living space afforded to Mathai only included a walk in closet.

Geroge could be sentenced for up to five years in prison, given a $250,000 fine, and be forced into forfeiture of her share of a mansion.
