(iWIDK By Omar Guzman) – A singer brought back a special souvenir from Central America.

Jason Whalley, singer for Frenzal Rhomb, recently had surgery to remove a pig tapeworm that was in his brain for over four years.
Jason Whalley collapsed in late January and was rushed to the hospital, where he was later diagnosed with a small brain tumor.
Doctors later removed the tumor on Valentine’s Day, a procedure that took three hours and involved removing part of Whalley’s skull.
During recovery Whalley was given good news by his doctors: he did not have a brain tumor or any cancer.
The bad news? A pig tapeworm was lodged in his brain.
An egg produced by the tapeworm is said to have caused the singer’s recent seizures, which forced Frenzal Rhomb to cancel musical appearances.
Whalley is believed to have acquired the parasite while in Central America.
According to Noise11, vegetarian Whalley believes that someone who prepared his vegetarian burrito in Central America must have eaten undercooked pork and not practiced proper sanitation.

This is why I’m not a vegetarian. He knows he got this tapeworm from eating someone else’s poop. If I get it, I can always blame it on eating undercooked pork.
