8-Year-Old Girl Suffocates To Death Inside Ice Sculpture Of A Turtle

8-year old Siberian Viktoria Adaeva was found dead inside an ice sculpture of a turtle.

Viktoria Adaeva climbed inside a sculpture of a turtle made of snow and ice through a hole believed to have been made by other children.

It is believed that the extremely cold temperature caused her skin to become stuck to the snow and ice, trapping her inside.

Adaeva’s grandmother, Lubov Sergeevna, alerted police when she was unable to find the young girl.

Authorities later found Adaeva’s lifeless body inside the sculpture.

According to Opposing Views, ice sculptures are common sights in Siberian playgrounds during the winter.
