Afghan Woman Proudly Displays New Face After Husband SLICED OFF HER NOSE

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – An abused Afghan immigrant finally told her story.

19-year-old Aesha Mohammadzai, a woman who became a symbol of the oppression of women in Afghanistan, received reconstructive surgery to her nose and ears.

According to ITV, an interview with reporters showed Mohammadzai divulging the story of her cruel and heinous punishment.

Mohammadzai experienced emotional and physical abuse in her prearranged marriage and had attempted to run away for a better life.

After she was caught trying to leave the country and served a 5-month sentence as a result, she was brought into the mountains, where her then husband and Taliban members severed her ears and nose.

Now, Mohammadzai is living a new life with a couple in Maryland, Mati and Jamila Arsala.
