Couple Locked Disabled Daughter, 8, Inside CAGE While They Took Her Three Siblings To The Movies

Cindy Patriarchias, 33, and boyfriend Edmond Gonzales, 37 were arrested on Friday after it was found out that they took Cindy’s three daughters to a local movie screening and left her fourth daughter – who is disabled with microcephaly and only 8-years-old – back in the family trailer, locked inside a wooden 29x60x49.5 box.

The victim’s father was the first to report that his child may have been neglected and insisted her welfare be checked up on.

Paramedics were called to the scene as soon as police found the girl locked away in the dark corner of a bedroom of the trailer, but luckily no bodily harm was done.

Local ABC reporters followed up that the girl, once checked out, was placed in the custody of child protective services.

Patriarchias and Gonzales, the girl’s guardians, are being charged with negligently committing and permitting child abuse.
