(iWIDK By Jessica Spar) – Can you feel the love (for these old men)?

Check out this video of old men sitting around singing at a Tim Horton’s.
I’m confused by their choice of location….perhaps they need the coffee so they won’t fall asleep in the middle of singing?
They’re so adorably old!
And they can harmonize!

Old men? Some of these “old men” are not much older than Elton John (65) and Tim Rice (68), the guys who wrote this Lion King show stopper. And this is no alter cocker flash mob, but a Canadian barbershop harmony group whose ages range from 50′s to 90′s but who are young enough at heart to have as much fun as they can, singing and performing for others. If these are quaint old men, what can we say about Tony Bennett, who, at 87, has sung duets with dozens of contemporary female rock stars a fraction of his age, or Leonard Cohen, who, at 78, has just started his second world tour in as many years? Age is just a number, and, with more and more of our cultural icons reaching retirement age yet continuing to perform well into their 80′s and 90′s, scenes like the one above will become more and more common.
