Kenneth Schmidgall fought man who stole iphone video youtube

Kenneth Schmidgall, a San Diego resident, took it upon himself to track down the perpetrator who allegedly stole his iPhone, on December 28th.

According to Opposing Views, Schmidgall and a friend of his, Greg Torkelson, used the “find my iPhone” app to track down his coveted device to the Torrey Pines State Reserve, where they found the perpetrator attempting to sell the device on the beach.

After the perpetrator failed to return the cellphone to its rightful owner, a fight quickly ensued between the two, which resulted in the thief being pepper sprayed and literally getting the snot beat out of him.

Although the video has caused quite a debate over the web, one can’t help but think that the thief got his comeuppance.

Stealing is wrong, obviously, but treating another human being like their life means less than a cell phone is pretty terrible.
