(iWIDK By Allie Beauregard) – Already receiving national attention, the case of a big crime in a small town just got bigger.

The August incident of a 16-year-old Steubenville, OH girl being raped at a high school football party, allegedly by teammates Ma’lik Richmond and Trent Mays, may have expanded to include two more female victims after photographs of them in similar scenarios as the original victim were found on the cell phone belonging to a friend of the accused.
Although the investigation following the case in the summer led to the seizure of fifteen cell phones and two iPods, police were unable to charge any other teammates with involvement in the rape after the players had deleted the photographic evidence.
This friend, however, wasn’t so lucky.
The photos obtained, though not dated, show two girls faced down and naked on the same carpet that the August victim was photographed being raped on.
When asked about the photos – on his own phone – the friend of Richmond and Mays said he had “never seen those pictures in my life,” according to Daily Mail.
It is unknown whether or not the girls in the new photos are connected to the rape case, which has attracted radical protests and divided the town already on edge because of the athletic hierarchies in place.
The owner of the phone, however, is currently under cross-examination, though he continues to claim his innocence and oblivion.
Mays and Richmond go to trial February 13, facing charges of rape and disseminating photographs of a nude minor.
