(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – A family chose to maintain their faith.

Danielle Zfat religion forces her to keep brain tumor

Danielle Zfat, a 19-year-old from Hollywood, FL, was put on life support New Years Day after her conditioned worsened due to a brain tumor that was found in late November of last year.

According to WSVN-TV, Zfat’s parents, Aviva and Ruben, were presented with the option of taking her off of life support, but claimed that such an act would directly contradict their faith as Orthodox Jews.

Aviva told reporters that their beliefs stood on the grounds that as long as Danielle’s heart beats, her soul remains in her body, and that “it is God’s place” to decide when to take her life.

Although a family attorney has been hired to defend the family’s rights, the hospital released a statement claiming that they had no intentions of removing Danielle from life support.

This is what is wrong with USA healthcare. God would have taken her if the hospital had not intervened. Stop hiding behind religion because you can’t deal with bad things that happen in life. I feel sorry for whatever is left of the girl in her head suffering.
