NBA Player Kevin Garnett INSULTS Carmelo Anthony On COURT: “La La Tastes Like Honey Nut CHEERIOS”

Tempers flared between New York Knicks player, Carmelo Anthony, and Boston Celtics forward, Kevin Garnett, during their game on Monday at Madison Square Garden after Garnett supposedly insulted Anthony’s wife.

According to Daily Mail, rumors have surfaced that during the on-court altercation, that earned both men technical fouls during the fourth quarter, Garnett taunted Anthony and his wife, Alani “La La” Vasquez, a former MTV VJ, saying she “tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.”

Anthony told the NY Post: “There’s certain things that you just don’t say to men, another man…I felt like we crossed a line, but like I said, we both had an understanding right now, we handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors, so that situation was handled.”

Lesson learned: do not insult someone by referencing breakfast cereal.
