Mariah Carey Disses Nicki Minaj In Barbara Walters Interview

Mariah Carey claimed that she “didn’t know [Nicki Minaj] sang” in a recent conservation with Barbara Walters, bringing back the feud that began last season on AI.

According to ONTD, Walters asked Mariah if she was the ‘b-tch’ that Minaj raps about in her new song Hell Yeah, with the lyrics ‘I’m the first to check a b-tch that’s outta line, why these bums so mad that the queen on Idol?’

Mariah said she didn’t know.

Mariah also revealed that during the initial spat with Minaj, she hired extra security as a precaution.

“It felt like an unsafe work environment. Anytime anybody is reeling threats at somebody, you know, that’s just it’s not appropriate.  I mean, I’ve got two babies, I’m not going to take any chances, so yeah I did hire more security. I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do.”

Okay, Mariah, we get it–you don’t like to share the spotlight.
