Father-Of-Two Killed While ZORBING – Broke Neck Rolling Down Mountain In Inflatable Ball

(iWIDK By Lauren Keough) – One man died and another was injured while zorbing.

Denis Burakov, 27, and Pal Vladimir Shcherbov, 33, had a deadly ride after the giant inflatable Zorb ball they were strapped in sped out of control and plunged off a cliff at a Russian ski-resort.

Zorbing is a popular sport that has participants rolling downhill in an orb, generally made of transparent plastic.

According to Huffington Post, the stunt was captured on a camera phone by a friend, who is heard telling Burakov as he climbs in: “Denis, you’ll be like Jackie Chan in the Armour of God movie!”

Burakove broke his neck and spine when the sphere he was riding in suddenly veered off course and began rolling down a mountain and died shortly after on the way to the hospital.

Shcherbov cheated death and was later released from hospital after being treated for concussion and multiple cuts and bruises to his body.
