Matt Dallas Came Out On Twitter

Matt Dallas, star of ABC Family’s Kyle XY, quietly pledged allegiance to the gay flag on Twitter today, while simultaneously announcing his engagement to his boyfriend.

Dallas, the 30-year-old actor with piercing blue eyes, was rumored to have been in the closet for quite some time now, but he has now put those rumors to rest.

Towleroad writes that Dallas tweeted the news last night, including a photo of his man: “Starting off the year with a new fiancé, @bluehamilton.  A great way to kick off 2013!”

It is bittersweet news when a really hot guy comes out of the closet and then immediately is unavailable.

But let’s face it, we all knew Matt was gay when he was a caterer for Kathy Griffin on My Life On The D-List.
