(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – This is probably the last thing a mother would want to find after waking up to at 3:30am.

Tess Guthrie, 22, of Lismore, Australia, was shocked to find a 10-foot-long python wrapped around her 2-year-old daughter in the middle of the night.
According to New York Daily News, the non-venomous python bit the young girl three times, which prompted Guthrie to wrestle the snake off her daughter and throw it across the room.
Guthrie brought her daughter to a nearby hospital, where she was released the next morning.
The python was captured by animal control personnel and released three miles from Guthrie’s home.
An expert remarked that the python was “in no way, shape, or form” attempting to kill the young girl, and was merely trying to find a heat source to warm itself.
