Mother Guarded Her 9-Year-Old Twins In Attic Against Burglar – Shot Man In Face And Neck FIVE TIMES

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – A mother of two turned to desperate measures to protect her children.

A 37-year-old mother from Loganville, GA, sprung into action after she saw Paul Slater, 32, attempting to enter her house with a crowbar.

According to WSBTV, the mother, whose name was not released, grabbed her .38 revolver and took her 9-year-old twins to a crawl space in the attic. When Slater found the woman and the twins, she fired off six shots, hitting him in the face and neck five times.

Miraculously, the burglar didn’t die and attempted to flee in his vehicle, but crashed into a nearby wooded area.

While Slater was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment and subsequently charged with burglary, the homeowner’s husband, Donnie Herman, praised his wife’s quick-thinking: “My wife is a hero. She protected her kids. She did was she was supposed to do as a responsible, prepared gun owner.”
