(iWIDK By Brittany Hahn) – I’m pretty sure this lady didn’t call the fire department for this service…

Gary M. Swiercz, a 49-year-old Chicago Ridge deputy fire chief, attacked a woman in her bed during the early hours of Saturday with a knife.
The attack occurred at the woman’s home in Tinley Park at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Swiercz allegedly placed the women on the floor and started beating her, resulting in a swollen lip and a knot in the back of her head.
Swiercz was also armed with a knife.
Swiercz’s attorney, Colleen McSweeney Moore, said this is unlike him to commit such actions.
According to the Tinely Park Patch, Swiercz was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder, home invasion, aggravated unlawful restraint, aggravated attempted criminal sexual assault, and residential burglary.
It looks his days as a fire chief have come to an end.
