(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – Before you take it upon yourself to house the entire animal kingdom, you may want to consider your daughter’s welfare.

Jeffrey O’Neil and Jennifer Kovacs, two parents in their late twenties from Oldsmar, FL, were charged with child abuse and animal cruelty after police discovered 300 household pets cramped into their home.
According to KSDK, police arrived at the house after the animal-obsessed couple filed a missing persons’ report when their 16-month-old daughter was nowhere to be found.
Reports detail that a relative of the couple found their daughter outside of the animal house, crying. Noticing that her parents were intoxicated, she took the distraught girl to her home and left a note, which the parents allegedly never found.
The child is currently under good care and the animals have been removed from the house.
