Three Dead As Plane Crashes Into Home, Ignites BLAZE – Homeowner Miraculously UNHARMED

(iWIDK by Aaron Lanton) - A single engine plane crashed despite the pilot’s best efforts.

In Palm Coast, Florida, 58-year-old Michael R. Anders and two passengers died in a plane wreck after crashing into the home of Susan Crockett, one mile short of the Flager County airport runway.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Crockett was able to escape through her bedroom window once the plane crashed, leaving her uninjured following an inferno that consumed her home and killed everyone on board the aircraft.

Once Anders recognized there was significant engine trouble during the flight, he contacted air traffic controllers for assistance, who confirmed that he began to fly under visual flight rules, which rely on visual sight instead of the plane’s instruments.

The two passengers who lost their lives were Duane L Shaw, 59, of Albany KY, and Charissee M. Peoples, 42, of Indianapolis, IN.

The crash took place on Anders’ 58th birthday.
