Bonnie Land found diamond ring arrested when claiming reward

In St.Charles, Missouri, Bonnie Land has pressed a lawsuit against Melisa Boucek for having her arrested on suspicion of theft when she attempted to return a diamond ring valued at $20,000 for a $3,000 reward.

According to STL Today, Boucek lost the ring in question in the dressing room of a spray-tan salon.

Land claimed that she noticed the ring, put it in her jacket pocket, and forgot to drop it off at the front desk before going home.

When she saw the reward sheet, Land contacted Boucek and arranged to meet her at a location where she arrested for theft.

Land’s lawsuit has claimed breach of contract, fraud and damages in excess of $66,500.
