Stupidity – Teen Caught Drunk Driving After BRAGGING ON FACEBOOK – “Drivin Drunk…Classic ;)”

Jacob Cox-Brown, 18, of Astoria Oregon posted a message on Facebook yesterday saying, “Drivin drunk… classic but to whoever’s vehicle i hit i am sorry. ”  which then helped police investigate the hit-and-run accident he caused. 

Astoria police mentioned to The Daily Astorian that a lot of people assume that what people post on Facebook is private just because their profile is set up that way, but once a person hits “post,” it’s out there.

Cox-Brown, thinking it was cool to post the status, was jailed and charged with two counts of failing to perform his duties as a driver.

The best part is, two of his Facebook “friends” turned him in.
