Megan Denman, 30, of Hoover, CA, was sentenced to six months in jail and three years probation after she pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
According to the Fresno Bee, Denman had been a teacher at Hoover High School when she engaged in a sexual relationship with a teenage boy just 16-years of age.
Denman tearfully expressed her regret, exclaiming to the court that she would never partake in such a disagreeable act ever again.
Due to her good reputation (supported by parents and students) and her lack of a “predatory” personality (as stated by a doctor’s report), the judge ruled that Denman will not have to register as a sex offender.
