Girl, 19, Accidentally Shoots Her Brother DEAD While Posing With Gun For Facebook Picture

(iWIDK By Allie Beauregard) – A drunken photo-shoot took a deadly turn when two siblings got hold of a weapon.

Manuel Ortiz, 22, of Phoenix was accidentally shot dead in the early morning hours of Monday by his sister after they had been drinking all night, and decided to take photos for Facebook, while posing with a loaded gun.

Sgt. Steve Martos, who arrived on the scene when neighbors called 911 after overhearing the gunshot at 5:30 a.m., said several friends were also in the apartment at the time.

The party-goers, though, insisted the shooting was a sincere – and tragic – accident.

However, if Ortiz’s sister is found to have had the alleged alcohol in her system at the time of the shooting, she will be charged with manslaughter, reported local ABC.

Those who witnessed Ortiz’s death remember him as “a very close friend to everybody…[who] was always there for someone.”
