(iWIDK By Paul Micele) – Was he really expected to pay for his own going away party?

Mickey Loniello, Jr., 36, of Illinois had previously been convicted on heroin charges when he decided that it would be a good idea to rob a bank to finance his going away party before he headed to the slammer.
According to UPI, when Loniello planned to rob a bank back in 2007, he had no idea that one of his fellow robbers was actually an undercover FBI agent.
“[Loniello] and a pair of co-conspirators — including an undercover FBI agent wearing a wire — made plans to steal a getaway car and rob a Chase Bank branch in Oak Park, Ill., to fund a goodbye fest.”
A judge sentenced Loniello to nineteen months in prison, which will also include rehabilitation for his heroin addiction.
