In Hoover, Alabama, Stephanie Suggs Millard, a 33-year old Spain Park High School science teacher, has been arrested for engaging in a sexual relationship with a then-17-year-old male student in March and April of 2012.
According to the Shelby County Reporter, the local police department’s Family Services Division received an anonymous tip about Millard’s conduct, which led to the investigation.
Millard will face two counts of a school employee having sex with a student under the age of 19.
Her bail has been set at $30, 000.
