Melissa Sego took her three children into store to help shoplift

Melissa Sego, 33, of Boone, IA, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and aggravated theft after police arrested her at a JC Penney.

According to Ames TribuneSego was accompanied by her three children (two daughters and a son), and prompted the two girls to help her stuff her purse with items she took into a changing room.

When loss-prevention officers attempted to subdue the model parent, Sego apparently shoved one of them up against a wall in an attempt to flee.

Sego was released from Story County Jail on bail.  Her two daughters were charged with 5th-degree theft under juvenile law.
