Donald Blood III DUI drove onto former lawn of AA co-founder

After driving into what he allegedly thought was a parking lot, Donald Blood III of Marlborough, MA, was arrested in Dorset, VT on Monday evening for a DUI after he drove onto the front lawn of the Bill Wilson house, theĀ origin of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The house was built in 1852 and ever since has served as a safe haven for recovering users and all those looking for clarity and pureness, still holding AA meetings to this day, as updated by Huffington Post.

Whether or not Blood was aware of exactly where he crashed his car, the coincidence is all too much and hopefully will serve as a turning point for him.

Blood must return to Vermont on January 14 for his hearing in Bennington.
