(iWIDK By Lauren Keough) – A little girl was reunited with her dog after it was stolen.

Mia, 7, had her dog returned to her after it had been kidnapped just before Christmas by a man in broad daylight.
Tena Cohen, who was heading to the Greenmarket in Union Square when she heard the thief yelling ‘dog for sale.’ Due to the nervous nature of the canine, she offered the man $100, but he refused.
According to the New York Post, the supposed “owner’’ was very stoned, on drugs and said he paid $3,200 for the dog, and had it for years.
Cohen then walked into a nearby Staples and made three debit-card purchases totaling $220 and went back to negotiate.
Once the negotiation had been finalized Cohen realized the dog had been stolen and gracefully returned it to its rightful owner.
Mia chimed in, “I’m not going to let Marley go now, no matter what!”
