A dog named Kabang, who became an international hero after sacrificing its snout to save two young girls, has defied all odds again after beating cancer.

Earlier this year, the dog leaped in front of her owner’s 3-year-old daughter, who had managed to step into the street in front of an oncoming motorcyclist and saved the little girls life.

However, the accident caused extensive damage to the dogs face.

Kabang still faces treatment for heart worms in its arteries before it can have the gaping wound on its face closed.

According to technorati, her tumor has disappeared, and specialists are preparing to deal now with her extensive heart worm.

The dog who is now considered a hero, has her own website to explain her injuries and help gain further funds for medical care.
