Mother Beat To Death Her 5-Year-Old Son During Home-Schooling Because He Couldn’t Pronounce ‘Sad’

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – The poor excuse for a mother initially told police that he had fallen off of a bike.

LaShay Patterson, 23, and Christian Patrick, 25, of North Philadelphia, PA, were arrested and put up for first-degree murder trials after they beat Patterson’s son, Dashawn Harris, to death on November 30th.

According to philly.com, Patrick had been living with Patterson for quite some time and had exercised ruthless corporal punishment during Dashawn’s homeschooling sessions.

The incident occurred when Dashawn had apparently lost interest in his studies and deliberately mispronounced the word “sad,” which caused his mother’s boyfriend to ruthlessly berate him.

A medical examiner stated that the 5-year-old had died from multiple contusions. A court date has not been set for Patterson or Patrick as of yet.
