(iWIDK By Allie Beauregard) – A married couple found out they not only love each other, but defying the law as well.

When Michael Souza, 44, was on his way to pick up his wife Stephanie Souza, 43, at the jail she was being detained in for a DWI arrest on Friday night, he too was stopped along route 95 outside Lincoln, RI for drunk driving.
Stephanie was on her way back home driving south through Cranston when she was pulled over – the breathalyzer revealing a BAC of .14.
Michael was called and asked to pick her up at the police station, only to be stopped en route for his own suspicious driving, providing a BAC of .19.
“This particular incident is even more troubling and unbelievable that the husband of the suspect responding to a State Police Facility drove intoxicated to pick up his wife,” said State Police Colonel Stephen O’Donnell to CBS.
A third – sober – relative was then called to pick up the two, who will appear in court in the next few days for arraignment.
