Man Beat 3-Month-Old Son’s Mother For Refusing To Make Him KOOL-AID

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – Who would have thought that Kool-Aid would be the source of domestic abuse?

Robert Joseph Atkins, 31, of Knoxville, TN, was arrested for aggravated kidnapping, domestic violence and violation of a protective order last Monday, after he beat the mother of his 3-month-old son for refusing to make him Kool-Aid.

According to Oak Ridge Today, Atkin’s held his ex-girlfriend hostage in her home in Claxton for several hours after the argument, but eventually let her go next door to get him a cigarette.

When the victim was free of Atkins’ torment, she immediately called police.

Atkins is being held on $300,000 bail and has a court hearing scheduled for December 20th.
