Horrible – Juvenile Prison Guards Caught Savagely Beating 15-Year-Old Girl On Video

(iWIDK By Allie Beauregard) – Roles were reversed for a juvenile criminal and the attacker that was supposed to be keeping an eye on her.

At the Milton Girls Juvenile Residential Facility in Northwest Florida, 33-year-old guard Shannon Linn Abbott was arrested after beating a 15-year-old female inmate, a disturbing incident that was all caught on tape.

The video shows Abbott escorting the girl firmly by the arm at first, then pausing to slam the child face-first into the wall and then the floor.

Abbott proceeds to sit on the girl, who shows no resistance throughout the footage.

Even more alarming is the amount of bystanders, mostly other guards, who walk in and out of the camera’s focus, not even phased by the attack. The incident was not reported by any staff members, and authorities only became aware of the abuse when the victim called a hotline herself.

An administrator at the Department of Juvenile Justice told the Miami Herald, “we are deeply concerned that the incident, as depicted in the video … contradicts its description to us by officials representing the facility.”

This week Abbott was released after making bail, and though she is restricted from working with children in the facility, she was able to resume her position at Milton.

Milton remains under investigation.
