Mother Heads To Nail Salon – Leaves Her FIVE-YEAR-OLD SON In Charge To Watch Over Toddler Siblings

(iWIDK By Jared Raymond) – A young mother left children alone while she went shopping.

Yvonne Rodriguez, 23, left her 5-year-old at home to babysit his younger siblings, 2 and 3, while she went to the grocery store, Best Buy, and the nail salon.

Rodriguez claimed she felt her son was old enough to watch the other children.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, when police arrived, the 5-year-old said he was watching the others and asked the officers if they could watch them all.

Rodriguez was arrested on child neglect charges and released on bail, while the children are in the custody of their grandparents.
