Man, 41, Left Pit Bull To BABYSIT 10-Month-Old Baby – Went To Watch Football At Bar

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) – A dog is a man’s best friend after all. 

James Irvine, 41, of Palm Coast, FL, was arrested for child neglect after he left his friend’s 10-month-old baby to go out for a night at the bar. 

According to CBS News, Irvine had left his pit bull outside of the infant’s doorway, and didn’t return to the house until 12pm that night.

The infant’s mother returned home from work to find Irvine trying to get into the house through the garage door. After he informed her that “the pit bull was watching the baby,” she immediately called police.

Irvine has been released on $1,500 bail and has been charged with child neglect.
