(iWIDK By Lauren Keough) - A man was locked up after killing his girlfriend’s baby.
Sadistic Barry McCarney, 33, was found guilty of sexual assault and the grievous bodily harm of baby Millie Martin on Tuesday after rushing her to a local hospital.
Barry caught on CCTV in Erne Hospital in Northern Ireland rushing through the doors of the hospital cradling his girlfriend’s 15-month-old daughter Millie Martin in his arms.
According to The Sun, he physically and sexually abused her until she was left with a number of fatal injuries, including the head wound that killed her, the court heard during a ten-week trial.
A pathologist found that Millie had suffered 21 cracked ribs, including 14 which happened in the ten days before her death.
Barry has been found guilty of murdering his former partner’s toddler and his sentence is pending.
