In Springfield Massachusetts, Anthony Perry is being charged with reckless endangerment of a child after allegedly leaving his girlfriend’s two-year-old son alone in a Kmart parking lot at 1:30 AM so he could purchase a 51-inch TV on Black Friday.

According to the Huffington Post, police were forced to break into Perry’s car to ensure the child’s safety.

Perry was later found at home with the TV from Kmart although it is unclear how he got home without using his car.

The allegations are being challenged by Perry who told authorities the he and the boy got separated while in the store.
