(iWIDK By Allie Beauregard) – Expecting customer service, a man left a local retail chain with a bleeding side instead.

Customer stabbing

After being billed twice for his cell phone, a 59-year-old Upper Darby, PA resident went to his local T-Mobile to settle the issue, and left with a stab wound when store clerk Darnell Schoolfield, 21, became violent over the issue.

What started as a typical phone inquiry quickly turned heated when the man knocked Schoolfield’s name tag off his uniform.

According to the police report, which the man gave after driving himself to the station post-stab, he was unaware he had even been attacked until he later saw the blood.

But security tapes reveal “as the victim is going out of the store after the altercation, you can see store clerk stab him in the side,” officer Michael Chitwood told ABC.

As police search for Schoolfield, they are prepared to arrest him under the charges of aggravated assault and attempted homicide.
