(iWIDK By Daniel Kiely) - A Texas boy recently enjoyed a heartwarming reunion with the firefighter who discovered him on the doorstep of his firehouse as an infant.

Koregan Quintanilla, 10, of Arlington, Texas, had told classmates at school that he longed to visit “his firehouse” more than Disney World or any other kid mecca, and for his recent birthday, he got his wish.
The Washington Post reports that Wesley Keck, a fireman at the Arlington station, discovered the infant Koregan on the doorstep one morning in 2002, and told his fellow firefighters that “somebody had left them a gift.”
Under Texas’s Moses law, an infant up to sixty days old may be left at a firehouse or hospital with no questions asked.
Koregan was adopted by Rebecca Quintalla, who often showed Koregan news accounts of his discovery recorded on local TV stations when he was discovered.
The ten-year-old toured the station, rode on a firetruck and hugged Keck, telling him, ”You’re very nice.”

Finally, a really nice story, for a change. This made me feel really great, on a morning when the news is so awful.
