480-Pound Man Claims That He Is TOO FAT To Be Executed By Lethal Injection In Attempt To Delay Death

(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) - Ronald Post, 58, was sentenced to die Jan. 16, 2013 for the 1983 shooting of a hotel clerk, but claimed that his enormous size (480 pounds) would hinder him a tranquil death.

WPTV reported that, “A spokeswoman for the prisons department had no comment on the impending litigation.”

In the past, medical personnel at the prison have had difficulty inserting IVs into Post’s arms; one such staff member needed three attempts to properly insert the drip line into one of Post’s veins.

Post has been instructed to refrain from walking, because his weight may cause him to take a dangerous fall.
