Tragic – Boy Accidentally Kills Himself With Father’s Shotgun – Just Months After Miracle Recovery From Sickness

(iWIDK By Eamonn Liddy) - 2-year-old Linkin Richard Leatham, the boy who had bravely battled numerous medical complications as a child and miraculously survived, accidentally shot and killed himself with his father’s shotgun in the family home last Tuesday

Both of Linkin’s parents were present at the house when tragedy struck but neither of them actually witnessed the incident take place.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Linkin was described as a miracle baby after battling and then winning his fight against serious illness in his first two months of life.

“He stunned doctors by his quick recovery, with not lasting damage to his organs. He was a miracle from the beginning, a fighter from the moment he entered this world”, Linkin’s obituary reads.

Police remain baffled as to the circumstances leading up to the shooting as they await autopsy results.
