(iWIDK By Alex Dorian) - Ivie Gremillion, a mother from El Paso, TX was given a drawing from her daughter that depicted vivid and macabre images of the 9/11 attacks.
Gremillion told the New York Daily News that “another little boy in the class was scared and confused by the teacher’s words”, as he believed that the attacks occurred annually on September 11th.
A spokesperson for the El Paso Independent School District expressed the administration’s sincere apologies, and assured the public that appropriate measures will be taken upon completion of their investigation.
Gremillion’s spouse is set to deploy for Afghanistan at the end of 2012.
