44-year-old, Duane Portman, kidnapped a woman and took her back to his workplace to rape her, after which she took his weapon and shot him in the face.
According to NY Daily News, after shooting Portman, the woman fled and drove to a hospital in Dayton.
Portman was shot twice in the face and managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital.
Upon arrival, he was confused and unable to to report to the authorities the circumstances in which the shooting took place.
Eventually the story came out and Portman was arrested and placed on a $50,000 bond for his violent actions.
