Inspiring – Husband, 77, Wears Giant Sign To Help Save Wife’s Life – ‘NEED KIDNEY 4 WIFE’

(iWIDK By Nina Hoffman) - The 77-year-old man has been canvassing the streets of Anderson County, S.C with a board saying, “NEED KIDNEY 4 WIFE” hoping to attract a potential match.

Swilling and his wife, Jimmie Sue have been married for 56 years and have three children together.

Swilling still works full time and on his days off has been walking distances of up to 7 1/2 miles in his search.

He told local television news reporters that he is willing to pay for gas to assist anyone who is interested in driving to the clinic to be tested.

Jimmie Sue was born with only one kidney and since the birth of their first child has dealt with kidney problems.

No one in the family is a match, so Swilling is hoping a willing party will step forward and help.

Swilling told WYFF, “I’m going to save my wife and that’s what I want… I love her more now I believe than when I married her because we’re not two, we’re one”.
