Family Wins $80,000 After Their Mother ROLLED OUT OF CASKET During Funeral Mishap

(iWIDK by Kevin Erdman) - On November 16, 2010, Ivy K. Gillespie Funeral Home employees dropped a casket carrying the body of 67-year-old Ellnora James spilling her body out on the floor as they were carrying her into Neland Avenue Christian Reformed Church and recently the family received an $80,000 settlement.

According to WoodTV 8, some family members saw the incident, but the ones appearing as plaintiffs in the lawsuit noticed something was amiss when they notice she was in a different casket, slumped down, with different clothes.

Family members expressed their grievance over the incident.

They also were upset about the settlement and that the case did not go to trial, stating that nobody in the family agreed to a settlement.
