(iWIDK By Ashley Woodhouse) - A 16-year-old boy admitted to Wisconsin police that he shot 7-year-old Aryanna Schneeberg with an arrow and is now being tried as an adult.

According to sheboyganpress.com, the boy is facing charges in juvenile court for second degree reckless injury and obstruction, for shooting Schneeberg with an arrow from a compound bow while she was playing with a friend.
Doctors said that the little girl was lucky to be alive after the arrow sliced her spleen, stomach, diaphragm, and lung, before stopping at her liver.
The boy’s public defender, Mary Wolfe, asked that the boy’s reckless injury charges be dismissed and he instead be charged with misdemeanors.
