Man Proposes To Wife In Hot Air Balloon Moments Before They Collide With POWER LINES

(iWIDK By Nancy Buckley) –  A romantic hot air balloon proposal suddenly turned dangerous.

Sheri Games  accepted her boyfriend, Martin Newsome’s, proposal moments before pilot, Dallas Beall, hit live power lines and was electrified and thrown into the bride-to-be and knocked unconscious.

According to News and Tribune, the balloon had landed, but because the grass was too high, Beall decided to find a better field to land in. The pilot took off toward the setting sun and was unable to see the power lines.

The couple managed to land the balloon with the assistance of teh ground crew and when they hit the ground the bride repeated her answer, “yes”.

Beall was revived upon the couple’s landing and taken by air to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
