Man Arrested For Driving Drunk With A PET ZEBRA In The Passenger Seat

Jerald Reiter, 55, was arrested in Iowa for drunk driving while his pet macaw parrot and zebra sat passenger side.

Reiter explained that he brought his pets on an outing to the bar, but the bar owner said that the animals couldn’t stay because they were serving food that night.

He was stopped by police in the Dog House Lounge parking lot where his blood alcohol level was past the legal .08 limit at .148, wrote WTVR.

He was brought to Dubuque County Jail and charged with operating while intoxicated (OWI).
